This is a voicemail from my grandma about this painting.


“Hello, it’s me, Grandma. Your mom sent me a photo of that picture you made, that new one, the pink balls with all the little doo-dads sticking out. Just lovely. Very modern. Grandpa said it looked like loofahs, but he’s just being silly.

Anyway, I showed it to the ladies at bridge and Judy thought it was a painting for breast cancer awareness. You remember Judy she’s the one who wears the wig and has the daughter I don't care for.

I printed it out and put it on the fridge. We’re all so proud of you following your little art dreams. I told my podiatrist about you. He said his niece does ceramics. I wonder if you know her?

One suggestion, maybe next time add a nice bird? I feel like it would really cheer it up. You know, something people want to look at in a room. But what do I know!

Alright, I have to go. The news is about to come on and I can’t figure out the remote since your uncle “fixed” it. Okay bye bye now."
